Demountable Campers

Is this why demountables have never really caught on in our country? What on earth was the owner carrying to cause such a catastrophic failure I wonder? Are there any currently at the NEC show?

What, if any demountables at the NEC? It only started a few hours ago!

My first experience of motorised camping started in a demountable in Canada. It took me through the badlands, the prairie, the Rockies of Canada all at the tender age of 21.  Such memories, I wish my grandchildren could experience this.
