I'm considering the leveller. Does the van feel solid from inside on the Millenco?

I was thinking of using their Stacka blocks, having first jacked the van up. but I'd first need to buy Kojack or other. The price then is probably more than the Millenco leveller.

The only thing I won't be able to overcome, directly, with the leveller is aligning the alko wheel lock. Beginning to think the wheel lock is more trouble than it's worth !!

I have used one in the past and yes, just as steady as on blocks or ramps, and for accuracy it is the best..

Get a big ratchet spanner to help though.

I think for the wheel lock the lock n level would be far better

Cornersteady, just read the link supplied above and they do not recommend their use on club hardstandings (loose stones) I take it to be like the “hot water” warning signs! wink

We bought a leveller. However, I do not like how it deforms the tyres. Because the contact pads are at an angle as the van is raised, they only support a very small section of tyre rubber. This leads to significant loading on the tyre wall. OK for a day or so, not so good if you are on site for a week or more. As CS says though, it does feel solid from inside.

the leveller or the lock and level Ken? Surprising for either one given the up and coming number of HS.

I just use the mover and plastic ramp now

If you pitch on a gravel surface the easiest method is to scrape out a depression for the high side wheel to settle in to.

If on a gravel  hard standing and only a slight adjustment needed then you could remove the by gravel and drop your wheel into it lowering the other side. Though always remember to make good the dip when you leave.
