as some of you know we lost our beloved Scooby to cancer just over a year ago now. The house has been so empty as were we. We decided to have another puppy. We picked up Jen three months ago now who is another Labradoodle. She has enriched our lives and given us a purpose. You forget how demanding puppies can be lol

She is gorgeous! They certainly do enrich your lives. I remember how kind you were when I lost my Millie last Jan, I'm glad you've felt it was time to bring another dog in your life.

She's lovely Kerry, our remaining little terrier is fifteen now, it would be hard to be without a canine companion. Looks as though Jen is a star turn. smile

What an absolutely gorgeous dog! You must be thrilled to bits with her.

Yes, puppies can certainly be demanding, but are such a joy to have around the house.

Please keep the photos coming. 😊

Thanks Brue. Fifteen is a wonderful age. We found it very hard, the house was so empty without her. Yes' Jen is full of beans.

I've fallen in love again! Isn't she lovely, isn't she beautiful! We've resisted the temptation many times, some day with posts like this, I'm sure we will capitulate and be there once more. Ohhhhhh!😍

Hi Kerry, yes we're fine. It was the right decision to get the pups Angus and Isla before Millie died as they have kept our other old lady, Jasmine, young. They all get on really well together and the youngsters have a lovely respectful relationship with Jasmine. We think about Millie every day and are thankful for the time we had her and the joy she brought.

Enjoy your pup, she is beautiful!

Oh Mickey. It was a difficult decision for us to make. My wife was very unsure as there could be a temptation to look at Jen as Scooby, but she is totally different. We have not regretted having her as she fills our hearts and have not regretted it. Perhaps one day you will feel it in your heart to have another dog. Kerry 🙂

Thank you JVB. Scooby was my first dog and we had her for Andrea who loves them. Once we had her that was it, loved her straight away and couldn't imagine life without her. Can't put into words how we felt when she was put to sleep! Jen has given us a purpose once again.

I lost my seven year old Cocker Spaniel to cancer in November.  Losing a pet is heartbreaking and it can never be replaced.  However, you can get another dog to assuage your grief.

This is my new puppy Timmy who is a bundle of mischief and fun.

Great photos and he looks he will keep you active. Nearly 10 years since we lost our last Springer and decided not to have another one a hard decision.
