This one has good reviews, which state a 30 min service into Lincoln from outside of the site gate.

    Hello lesandang

Please do take a look at my site.  Whilst it is a 20 minute walk to the nearest bus stop there are regular buses from there.  Alternatively, as I see your are a caravanner, you could leave your car in North Hykeham and catch the bus into Lincoln or park at the train station and go by train.  There is also a very regular park and ride service run from Waitrose (Monday to Saturday).

You can find all this information on my website at www.skybarnfarm.co.uk and click on the 'useful information' tab.

We are very close to the City and have easy access off the A46 (no winding, narrow lanes).  We offer fully serviced hard standings, free WiFi, coded access gate with 24 hour CCTV and an information hut packed with local tourism leaflets.

If I can provide any further information please don't hesitate to get in touch.

    Kind regards

    Nicola

not actually a CL but feels like one Hartsholm Countey Park is on tne edge of tne city, can get bus in easily or walk/cycle...

worth a look for the location, also the countey park itself is great for a stroll around...

Just telephoned and booked long weekend ( 1st Feb ) with Mere Oakes CL and advised the booking form is incorrect and unable to book, so until this is corrected best to telephone.

    Happy caravanning.

I've used this site and found it ideal for getting into the city. As said, bus from the gate or riverside walk/cycle into the city. The owner was making some changes to the position of the cl, moving it further down the field and using the old area as a small commercial field. Toilet and shower available too.

Nice to hear of a P + R in Lincoln. Is this the site of the old Safeway supermarket of years ago? It is not before time, parking in Lincoln is awful and expensive.

We stayed at the Diamond House site a while ago and liked it very much, nice people, on a bus route or a cycle path along the river/canal directly into Lincoln, WC and a coin operated shower, pub nearby. It ticked all the boxes for us 😊

That is good to hear as we have just booked Diamond House!

Had hoped to book one of the HSs, but only grass left, so obviously popular.

When was that for Kjell, as we hope to head that way next month?
