The next stop on our 2014 tour was at Washingpool Farm CL, which is just a short walk from Bridport in West Dorset. The site located right next door to the Washingpool Farm Shop so there is no need to go too far for provisions and footpaths run from the site providing easy access too some stunning countryside to walk,

Most of our walks during our stay started from the site.  Early on I did a pleasant 5 mile route starting from the site and walking a combination of well marked footpaths and quiet country lanes. Details of that walk can be found here.

I am a keen walker so also went on a longer 9 mile stroll from the site which provided some stunning views of the coastline and surrounding countryside.  You can view that walk on our blog via this link.

For us a visit to Lyme Regis was a must and it is only a short drive away.  Equally close by is Chesil Beach.  We parked at Bradstock and walked along the beach to West Bexington, a great walk for wildlife, click here for details.

If you want to see all of our walks from our stay at Washingpool Farm CL click here.  The link will also provide access to all our other walks and blogs from sites we have stayed at around the UK.

Thanks for adding more photo's. I recognise West Bay, I think we had slightly better weather but it was in the summer.

Nice to see a familiar place,  we're down there a lot, a good area for strolls or longer walks. Thanks. smile
