Hi madhouse4, we stayed at Ord House a few years ago. It kept appearing the Practical Caravan magazines Top 100 sites. It has great playarea and sandpit near the tourers and toilet / showers were excellent. There was a restaurant onsite with a soft play area inside. I think we visited, would it be Ettle or Settle, railway / village ? We really liked the site, it was well kept and relaxed. Hope this helps, but it was a few years ago. Cheers, Alex.

If you're in the C&CC there's a good site at Beadnell. Playground on site and right across the road from a long and interesting beach. Several eateries in Beadnell or Seahouses.

South Meadows at Belford just off the A1 road is a good site about 10 Mins drive from Bamburgh Beach. There is a brand new toilet block being built for the new season. There are plenty of childrens play equipement on site. There are also several eating places in the village
