Caravan cover

Hi All,

The caravan cover of 2 years old was torn during the strong winds last night. No doubt at least in part being helped by being saturated.

As the caravan is sited at home I will get a replacement cover at some time over the next few weeks.

I think the cover was about £80 which is about the price of most covers I seen on line. There is then a jump up to £300 ish, presumably of a better quality but still only a 3 year guarantee.

I wondered what experience anyone else has had. ie is it better to have the cheaper cover or to splash out on the more expensive type and hope you actually get a longer use of it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have used covers for over 15. Years never had a problem I find they all last about 2/4 years I have had expensive and cheap they all last about same at the moment I have a cheap one and this is the 3 season (I have never seen this question asked before)

     Thanks rjb,

That confirms my thoughts as even the most expensive only offer a 3 year guarantee.

The old cover is still on at present and hopefully the tears want get to bad until I can get a new 'cheap' cover as we get into the sproing.

    Thanks again for your help
