If you're considering coming to the IW next year. Red Funnel are currently doing some good discounts. (12 days of Christmas).  Today's offer is 25% off any 2018 crossing.

Not really anymore.  We sporadic discount codes, but that's it now.

    That sounds a superb deal.

Just looked at that site for next summer, looks good.  We have a booking on the cc site at Southlands but I still need to get a cheap ferry deal.  I thought there was some sort of offer when you booked the site but nothing popped up.  Do we quote some sory  of discount code or need to make a call to the ferry company?

The Wight Link fares always seem to be expensive compared to Red Funnel. Perhaps people prefer the shorter crossing but for anyone coming from the north (almost everyone going to the IOW!) then Southampton is just as convenient as Portsmouth or Lymington.

Triky, quite like the sound of the site you are on as it seems to be very convenient for Cowes and shopping and good access to public transport.

Anothersunrise, don't IOW residents have access to frequent traveller type fares?

The frequent fares are no good for a caravan etc. Wightlink don't really do any offers/discounts for Islanders.  Their prices have been telephone numbers, especially since they changed the length of vehicle sections.

The waverly site is good if you want to visit Osborne House. Wouldn't recommend it for visiting West Cowes though. At the moment the chain ferry is not in use. No one seems to know when it will be fixed.  East Cowes is a bit run down.
