What battery charger to buy?
Hi all, I am looking to buy a new charger for my 115 ah battery. The battery spec says it needs an 11 amp bench charge. A link for amazon, Halfords or anywhere I can get one delivered in a couple of days would be much appreciated. Ta

Get a ctek one.
Used by most top end car and boat companies.
Excellent bit of kit, best available in my opinion.
MXS 5.0 would do but is lower current than the 11a you say it needs ( a battery will charge at any ampere rate but take longer with lower current charger) but you really dont need 11A charging unless you are regularly draining with a big load.
MXS 7.0 is the one recommended for large caravan battery.
MXS 10is higher current but really is overkill if you are only using it to charge on the bench and condition the battery.
If you are only using the charger to condition the battery then one of the smaller units will do but the 5 would take about 24hr to charge a large leisure battery from dead to fully charged.
note that the type of battery matters, Lead, AGM, lithium etc. Make sure you get one matched to the type of battery you have.
