Parking for MH Near Rowntree Park

We were booked into York Beechwood Grange for Saturday night but managed to change to RP today.  Original plan was to visit Monks Cross for JL Saturday afternoon then park at P&R Sunday to go into York for shopping before driving over to Bridlington on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Now we are at RP we will have to leave pitch at 11:15 but we want to go into town, called the Warder and she said we could park in the car park on Terry Avenue next door.

Anyone parked here and have any experience, is it secure and OK for 7.5m Van, trying to save driving out to P&R and bussing back in, all help appreciated.

    I know it is quite busy as it is used by people useing Rowntree Park and if memory serves it is not very big,,sorry cannot help more

    Ps there are six P&R round York not sure if they are all- motor caravan friendly

    Update, decided to change booking and have 3 days at RP to save the hassle, who said the booking system is c4rp and honeypot sites are full at weekends with block bookerslaughing
