We have 2011 CRV 2.2tdi, on a good day I get about 32mpg towing, but then I had it re-chipped.  Very comfortable, never had a mechanical problems in 85K miles.  Good over all types of surfaces including wet, muddy fields with van in tow.  As a wildlife lover I often take the car off road.  In Czech republic stayed at a site 2500 feet, never missed a beat.

    I use " new" Honda cr- v " Dream Diesel.  1.6 l

Tow a Adria Adiva- gross all up just short of 1500kg.

Just back from week towing and she returned 31.4 mpg.

This is my second cr- v first one being 2.2l on 11 plate.

This is the car for me.

just remember if you change the van in the future for a heavier bigger one then you might have to swap the car again that will pull it. i would never have a 16l diesel whatever the make, 2l minimum.

With regard to last post -I study my vehicles thoroughly and my new cr-v 1.6l develops more bhp and torque than my 11 plate 2.2 l

    Cleaner and more eco friendly

What's not to like about it ?
