If the UK, as posted so many times,we had the space ,and as many sites even the verry short season of some, there would not be what some perceive as so much of a problem, and as you say the UK does not have the facilties for the proliferation of motor caravans that is available else where

In the good old days, the club always used to keep a few freedom to roam pitches available on each club site to cater for those that just turned up without booking. Unfortunately, those days are gone but you have to remember that in the days when there were no mobile phones and no internet, it was not easy to contact the site warden to check pitch availability whilst on the road and before arriving!

Having the ability to check " Late availability" on week days would go a long way to aleviating the problem. Gives the mover a chance to see what is available and move on. With this fancy computer system it should be a basic requirement. Would be beneficial to Vaners and M/H

It can be frustrating in a situation where you are looking to stay for 21 consecutive nights on a particular site, that it's not available for no other reason than one Saturday night during that period is fully booked.
