Lunar cosmos 2015 damp,

Hi  I have just had the third annual service on my three year old Lunar cosmos 564 done doing his damp test everything was fine until he got to the wash room where he recorded results of 25-30% at about 4” either side of the toilet,outside of this area there was no damp at all showing, he suggested that perhaps the access door for the cassette could be the problem as there was no readings above floor level. When he had left I thought about this and remembered that when I opened the door to remove the cassette to empty it a couple of days before I found that the bottom of the compartment was full of flush water which must have got there when I was running the flush continually to empty the flush tank.I dried it out and didn’t really think anymore about it. Since the service I ran the heating for a couple of days and rechecked the area with my meter and got readings of less than 1% do you think this could have been the cause of the high readings or should I take it to my dealer to be checked out.(by the way forgot to say previous services have been damp free also don’t really know how accurate my meter is)

Don't think your meter is accurate. Normal reading this time of year 10 to 15% I reckon. Surely if you were running flush to empty tank the toilet cassette was in place and water would have gone there?

Yes cassette was in place but I was running the water into the bowl with the slider closed think it must of leaked past it and onto top of cassette

doesn't your tank empty via a small hose just above the cassette that has a bung inserted that you remove and drain into a bucket of some sort.  my lunar delta has.

Check those seals annually is my advice.

I think you are probably correct in your  thinking, if the floor area under the cassette was flooded, that sounds like your problem. Like a previous post commented, the rubber drain hose is designed to empty your flush tank.
