Birmingham Show Tickets
The ticket price as shown with the discount for members do not apply after the show as opened. But is not set out as that in the magazine advert. When you go on the show website via the club you end up having to use the phone line, as the web booking is dead. And then it is at the door prices. Plus the rip off of 7 pence per minute , which took 15 minutes to get through, be told it is the door price. Either the club should insist that members offers are available throughout the show or indicate that there is a break off time. Or is the club making a percentage of the phone charges adding up waiting for a operator.

I can't answer your question but having ordered tickets online on 16th the day before the show opened without a problem I wonder if the website would have to be changed for each day the once the show was open and that was the reason that online tickets were only available up until the day before opening day? I will flag this up to the Community Manager so that the final day for ordering is mentioned in future offers.

I looked at the offer online and the cut off time was clearly stated as midnight on the 16th. I tried to book tickets on the 17th via the club website but as doncookson said the web booking was dead. However a link from the Camping and caravanning club website was working fine on the 17th for online bookings, but the price was still the on the door price.

In the (extremely) small print at the bottom of the advert in the October magazine it states clearly that the reduced price tickets were only available if booked before 23.59 on the 16th. We went on Tuesday 17th and paid £13.00 for two senior (60+) tickets on the door with voucher out of the magazine. Arrived at 11.30, straight in no delays.
