I have just bought my first motorhome and would welcome any advice on what type of levellers to get.

Hello and welcome whether you're new or have posted before 😉.

We have been motorhoming for 10 years and carry Millenco quarto ramps, they are large. We did have Fiamma ones but they cracked on the narrow edge so wouldn't recommend, they are also narrower than Millenco ones only just wide enough for the tyres.

All that said we rarely use them as it is generally possible one most sites to get level, or virtually level, by positioning alone. My OH seems to be great a knowing exactly where to park it even if you are working with the peg! 😉.

As a check we put some water in the sink to check the level and watch the water disappear down the drain. Doesn't need much. I insist this is done just to prove to OH it may not be as spot on as he reckons 😂.

Any ramp will do the job - home made ones will do.

We rarely need them as hard standing pitches are generally pretty level and you can always shuffle about by a few inches which can make a big difference.

A lot depends on the wheelbase of your MH as to the ease of levelling as the difference becomes more noticeable with longer MHs.

We have the slightly smaller Millenco (triple) ramps because we cannot accommodate anything bigger. We have travelled all over Europe and I have to say we have rarely been exactly level. It’s almost impossible, so you get to live with cupboard doors swinging closed or open. Compensating for side to side as well as front to back is tricky with two ramps.

Most lightly loaded Pug motor caravans have a nose down attitude so ramps help you rolling onto your partnersurprisedeither bought or home made
