https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

Recently looked at his site which if not already aware of it may be of interest to anyone considering buying a 2nd hand m'home or car.  It gives MOT info of pass with comments to be aware of or fail & why if you enter the reg of vehicle.

Yes you can pass a wet day on site by typing in all the registrations plates you can see out of your outfit and find out their MOT status (hopefully all are exempt or passed!) but also their mileage, when the car or MH was registered (useful for those private plates) and full MOT history and what it ever failed on. smile

By using the DVLA Vehicle check facility and the Motor Insurers Database you can check whether all your neighbours cars are taxed, MOT'd and insured.......

And believe me, some people do that.....

When Cyprus abolished windscreen tax discs (and insurance stickers) back in 2010 it created endless merriment in the local press.

In some areas, drivers were hauled up (both by police and 'upright local citizens' for NOT displaying a tax disc.   In other areas police were reprimanding drivers FOR displaying a disc  ..... they have a law that NOTHING must obstruct the windscreen, which some areas suddenly started to observe quite literally in 2010.  surprised

It was still a subject of amused discussion when we were last there in 2014.
