Now it's coming to the end of the season for some members (not for me)and with some sites closing soon ,I thought is was time to thank the wardens for all their work this year , for some wardens it might have been a bit tough at times dealing with members complaints, but I think the majority of members are behind our wardens ,( a job I wouldn't want to do )

So ,Thank Youcool

Thank you for the OP Husky ,the vast majority of wardens are what makes it for the vast majority of members when visiting the sites network, and with two very good friends we know who have been on the front line and some who we have met through our friends, theirs at times is a very thankless job

I agree with everything you said there Huskydog, apart from the last comment. I'm hoping that one day we'll be in a position to become wardens, I think they have one of the best jobs you can get. Every job has challenges but in the main it must be a great job to wake up to each day.

Thank you to all the wardens who make our stays so good 😊

yes a big plus one from me too to HS and all the wardens.

I have said it before but I believe it's the warden that makes club sites so special and so popular.

I suppose that is true as the standards of sites is due in no small part to their efforts

I think it is the fact they live on site rather than turn up for a shift at 8 am. If something needs doing or something is amiss there is no one to pass the buck to or to hide.

They do take a pride in their site.

And of course they have to be club members and have been, or rather are caravaners or motor homers themselves so know quite a lot if any problems occur and know what you are talking about. Been helped out a few times with one or two problems with the van in the past.
