whats the closest club site to fairford 

i want to go to the royal international air tattoo next july

its basically a big air display

    I don't know, Armourer, but suggest the map which came with your handbook will probably be the easiest way to find out.

    Probably Cirencester Park but there's a few in that area that wouldn't be too bad a journey

     Agree, Cirencester is closest, Burford is also close. Both on good routes to Fairford....cool

    Personally I would go with Cirencester. A very nice site, about 11 miles away. Usually fairly easy to get into, except for bank holidays and the Cotswold show weekend. However, I believe that is the weekend before Fairford.

    Armourer,If you do not mind using your own facilities and going non electric the Gloucester Centre do a rally in Whelford.You can just sit and watch the air show from your unit without having to go into the actual airshow.One tip is the whole area is very busy on flying days.Already looked at next year.It is an amazing weekend.
