Treasure trails

I don't know if you're aware but there's a company that does thousands of  walking treasure trails and murder hunts around cities, towns and villages around the UK. We find them an excellent and fun way of spending a cheap day out whilst discovering so much about the place we're visiting in the van. Each trail costs around £6 and are between 2 to 4 miles in length. They guide you to places you would never dream of looking otherwise and include a bit of local history. There are even pub walks if you so wish!!

Go to treasuretrails.co.uk and have a look. I'm not connected to them in any way, my daughter used one for her Brownie group and ever since then we've been hooked! Let me know if you have been on any. We've done most in the North East now, just going on the Seaham one today.

Thanks for your feedback and to Bakers for adding the link. I think it doesn't work as there is an 'S' missing from the beginning, try-

As I've just discovered how to do this!

Enjoy if you do go on one of these, we did Seaham yesterday and it was fab.

Yes, thanks for that. I wasn’t aware of this website and I’m sure I will be going on some of these ‘treasure hunts’ thanks again.

Sorry embarassed.  I copied the link from where I was looking at the site.  This being this site sealed said it lacked https, had several attempts to add, and obviously missed the 's' when I finally managed.
