New to all this, and looking to insure caravan, trying to get my head around various options esp 'Family', what does this mean / cover? Is it for others towing the van or for 3rd party for family members ... as there will be 3 of us using the van.. presumably it is sensible to have family cover if it is for 3rd party.... does that make sense?

    I would suggest that you contact your insurer and discuss the concerns with them rather than take well meaning advice from members of the forum.

    Members will not know your circumstances and might inadvertently give the wrong advice.
