Motor insurance in Europe for more than 185 days

We have a Motorhome and tow a small car on a trailer. We are going to Europe for a total of 224 days but can only find insurance cover for the car for up to 185 days. Does anyone out there know of an insurer who will give extended cover or a way round this. We often meet people who have been in Spain from October to May with their car so it must be possible. 

Any advice appreciated.

    Try Saga. I think they do all year round.

    We use Saga, they will cover you for 365 days Europe, they're not the cheapest but when we had an accident in Italy [we were hit from behind, when we were stationary, the other car hit our caravan at about 40mph] they paid with no hassle, from accident to a new caravan on the drive was 6 weeks, they also brought both the car and van home and paid £500 towards our travel costs.

    Try Scenic a susidery of Swinton group they cover 270 out side U.K.

    I had Swintons own for 2 years but come the usual price increase at renewal I shopped around and found Scenic which is owned by Swinton but was £60 cheaper identical policy.
