Enquiries re Burstner IXEO 680G

We are proposing to buy this model. Would appreciate comment re real-life's fuel consumption for this model.Thanks to anyone with opinions as to pros and cons regarding this particular model.

    this van will be on a Fiat Ducato chassis and you will be running either a 130 or 150bhp version.....(the 180 is a hugely expensive option)...

    fuel consumption for these two will be broadly similar...

    we run a 150 version (not a Burstner but it doesnt matter) and we get 27+ mpg from ours (based on 5k miles from new).

    these motors take a couple of thousand to loosen up, and really start flying the more mileage they put on.

    we are on our 4th Ducato, 2 130's and 2 150's) and i reckon our consumption is pretty consistent with the other vans and most forum info.

    either way, a mile or two on the consumption shouldnt necessarily influence the van choice too much...the 680G is a lovely van, roomy, innovative and good washroom and garage.....if you like it, go for it.
