Travelling to Spain for the winter with our dog

Looking to go to Spain for the winter. We used to live Denia so we are thinking around that area. We have a young dog so we would like to know any pitfuls of taking her. She has a pet passport. Any help or recommendation very welcome tia.

    Do get a Scalibore collar it will protect against fleas ticks sand flies and parasites in wooded areas, also find a vet within 24hrs to 5 days before you return to the UK. I normally include making an appointment included in our travel arrangements
