Why Ask the Expert?

Can I ask the "Expert" why there is nothing posted here since 2016? Is it defunct?

    I think you have it in one philnjune, it is indeed defunct and should be retired.

    It is difficult to answer your question as it has not been used since the Club recently embraced Social Media in a big way and they seem to have diverted resources away from this forum to the likes of Facebook.

    The purpose was originally :-  "It was designed in order to let members ask questions of a nominated industry expert on a specific subject over a specified time frame " 

    I think many of us agree that the name needs to be changed at the very least. It would be useful to have some clarification on the future of this section and if not likely to be used in the future it should be removed.
