Motor Movers
I see more and more vans advertised for sale with Movers. What I want to know is, does the weight of a mover impact the MTPL?

ET is right. Our mover weighs nearly 50Kg for a 2 berth single axle 'van so it certainly eats into the available payload.
That said, we really wouldn't like to have to manage without it now. 'Vans are getting heavier and we are unfortunately getting older.
They certainly make life a lot easier, especially on European campsites where pitching can be, well, rather challenging sometimes.

A mover will allow access to pitches that no one could access using the car alone.
Even if having passed various Caravan manoeuvring courses, there are lots of pitches that you just cannot access without one. These pitches are often the best ones.

The other major plus is that with a mover you can go in nose first if that is where the view is.
Some of the pitches on the North Yorkshire Moors site face the moors and when the sun goes down the view can be stunning. I certainly can't physically push/pull a 1500kg caravan across gravel by hand!
