Water meters on serviced pitches
I notice we have another thread on the use electricity meters on pitches , lets go the whole hog & have water metres on service pitches , surely they would use more water than a standard pitch .
Or would that be considered ok , seeing how serviced pitches have a premium price above your standard awning / non awning pitches .
What next , extra payments for members who empty the loo cassette more than others.
At the moment the pitch price is inclusive of all services/extras provided for every member , common sense dictates it stays that way for the considerable future........😜

When the pitch that I am on includes water and drainage as the occasional commercial site does I stay for 5 nights and fill and empty aquaroll once as on a non service pitch

Haven't Thetford already thought of that one? ...... OK it's a machine that also empties the cassette and cleans it for you .....but you still have the task of carrying the thing to the disposal point

As far as I am concerned the premium paid for a serviced pitch covers any extra water used. Water is already restricted on many sites and in public places by fitting push button spring loaded taps which turn themselves off after a very short duration.

I pay extra for serviced pitches even though I do not use the standard toilet facilities which need maintenance and all the costs involved cleaning etc..
i do not use the play area or dog walking areas either so should I get a refund. Of course not. The club is run to meet many different 'customers' needs on a collective basis.
