Coachman Roof Rails

Whilst washing the roof recently I noticed the offside centre roof rail bracket/support has become detached from the roof. It is normally glued in place. Has anyone else had any experience of this and has anyone either repaired it themselves or had it repaired? I have the correct glue/sealer and also the primer/cleaner; although there is not much gap under the bracket to get it in I do have a couple of ideas.

Currently I'm not sure if the roof rails are look good items or part of the structure providing torsional and longitudinal stiffness. There are mixed views on this, even amongst the dealers. I may have to approach Coachman but would like to hear from others first.

Good question. I've got 100% damp on my 2015 coachman VIP. When I had a quick look at the awning rail/roof in the area all looked well but I noticed poor sealant around the central roof rail bracket. I asked the dealer if the brackets are stuck on or screwed on. I wanted to know if the integrity of the roof had been compromised as if just stuck on then the sealant didn't really matter. They didn't know saying they'd never had to have one apart.

mines back to coachman in September it will need all the wall board changing due to staining.im hoping they'll fix it as I've never been happy from new with numerous faults, and not just insignificant. They can fix the solar panel, the interior seam tape which is peeling off and the bathroom window which is detaching from the wall as well.

when I find out the answer I'll update and I'll follow this post with interest.
