Selling advice

Hi All,

My dad is a loyal 'caravanner'. But took seriously ill last year and unfortunately stopped him and my mother going in the van. The caravan unfortunately needs to be sold now and im looking for advice for the best way to do this? I have my own van so don't need it. But have no experience in selling one. This van has all the accessories needed as well as an awning with annexes and lightweight poles.

Coachman Laser 590/4 twin axle

    Lefty - sorry to hear he has to give up - I sold a van on Preloved successfully.  I got the price from the dealer and then added £500 for bargaining space - the buyer didnt haggle!  I tried the local paper too but had one weirdo who kept asking if it had an engine!  I felt insecure about him and told him to call when he got to the local town and I would direct him to the house.  He never called!  Then there is the CLub's classified bit too.  Good luck

    We have had some success with Auto Trader which has a caravan section, although with our last van we couldn't sell it and ended up trading it in for the Motorhome.
