The Astronomy Photos of the Year 2017 are impressive. I'm not too good at taking night time photos, just about manage the moon if it's bright. smile   

The photos are lovely but my favourite is the shooting star over Portland, in Dorset....oh, and the space station one too.

    Beautiful. Thanks for the link Brue. I think they're all wonderful. Totally confused by the description of captures! I'm a point and shoot photographer and delighted to have a camera I can set on 'idiot proof' it's not always 😂😂😂
