Water pressure on fully serviced pitches
I was at a private site in cornwall last week and was speaking to the owner about water pressure supplied direct to the caravan he had the pressure turned down to what he said was the correct pressure and it worked perfectly no leeks or problems of any kind , I switched it on at the beginninģ of our stay and of at the end of our stay without any problems . The point I am making is that I think the water pressure on most sites is to high and should be turned down to the correct pressure .

Direct water to the caravan involves a pressure reduces as does most automatic watering systems for the garden. I have one that came with the caravan but would not wish to use one. I have had two leaks in the water system in the past 5 years. No damage done and excessive pump running gave the game away, A direct system could be a different story.

My previous van. a Elddis Storm came with a pressure reducer but my Lunar didn't, so now if I have mains water on pitch I fill my onboard tank as normal then fit a float into the aqua roll and connect to the mains and that keeps the aqua roll half full all the time, more than enough to keep the inboard tank full
