Prince's Countryside Fund
This week we're raising funds to support our countryside for the Prince's Countryside Fund (PCF) on 5 to 6 August 2017.
The Prince’s Countryside Fund gives grants to projects that support the countryside, providing grants to improve rural areas, helping to train future farmers and educate people about the value of the countryside.
The Club will be supporting the Prince’s Countryside Fund’s National Countryside week (31 July to 6 August) by holding summer parties and fundraisers across the UK sites network. If you want to take part, below are some of the sites with events and activities to help raise funds.
Chester Fairoaks will be hosting a Farmers Market, Morn Hill will have a Caravan Show and Wharfedale will have a Dog Show to help raise funds. Other sites with activities include Broadway (treasure hunt and games), Abbey Wood (tombola & instant prizes), Bromyard Downs (guided walks over the downs), Bunree (raffle), Camelford (guess the weight of the cake), Hebden Bridge (tombola and quiz), Lady Margaret's Park (book sales), Melrose Gibson Park (raffle), Morvich (DVD hire, DVD sales and a Raffle).
If you happen to be on site during one of these events we hope you have a wonderful time.
