Some of us regularly use only fully serviced pitches due to health issues or for convenience. The difficulty has always been easily locating them without going through pages and pages of the site book. Then David produced his list that has become a sticky and it has eased the difficulties. However, in this month's magazine there is an article indicating the increase in these type of pitches has doubled the total. David's list is now out of date if this is true. Can we therefore have access to a list similar to David's one that includes the new pitches?

The simple answer to this is to have an option for serviced pitches added to the site booking filters, this should be a very simple thing for the IT department to do and many people have asked for it over the years but nothing has ever happened. It seems that the club is more interested in providing the facility to search for Golf or Fishing nearby.

Join the C&CC. You can search for full service pitches there.

As already said, there is really no excuse for the lack of ability to search for service pitches in the same way that you can search for golf courses.

It is ridiculous that you can search on facilities that the caravan club don't own and not search on facilities that are intrinsic to the club's network.

This has been raised in numerous occasions but nothing has happened, as with much else that has been identified as issues with the web site.

Thank you to the three of you that responded. It would seem there is little interest in providing the information by the club. Surely, pitch facilities are one of the main details that should be available and easily found. So if you read this David, my warmest thanks to you for providing some information. The club could learn from you diligence.

Thanks for your kind words Mr H.  I will continue to pursue this with the Club.  If, in the mentime folk could let me know of any changes/ additions of full serviced pitches to my original 'sticky' list, please post on this or any of the other threads about serviced pitches (or by email - email address in my profile), I will update the main list.

    Best wishes

    David

It does seem daft not to have the facility for CC sites. Are there many full facility sites (showers etc) that don't have serviced pitches I wonder?

Yes. The majority of CC sites. Compare David's list to the total number of sites.

Hi folks I've only just joined the CAMC club and already think it's not good to have no way of knowing which are fully serviced touring caravan pitches as I struggle with my health it would be a good thing to add to there website
Maybe they will look into adding this

I recommend contacting the club directly and stating your request. Relying on staff picking it up on the discussion forum isn’t foolproof.

I have started booking as a preference full service pitches due to health issues, I happily use my own facilities and need them so I do use a lot of water. I needed a site for Blackpool, the club site had hardstanding pitches for some nights but not all that I needed and were £30+ per night, I flicked through the CL pages and booked Toddesdon Hall farm Cl, £20 per night fully serviced and excellent.
