Chinese Volvos

I've just been reading an article in a railway magazine about a new traffic flow of new Volvo S90 cars from Heilongjiang in China to Zeebrugge for distribution in Europe. Apparently they are expecting to build up to 5 trains a week, each carrying 200 cars by the end of this year.

The article says that the cars will be transported on special pallets in containers to prevent  damage loading and unloading.

Does anyone know whether any other Volvo models are made in China?

They are a Chinese company now. The old LDV vans have resurfaced too.

NEVs, another Chinese company are shipping, to other parts of China, 250,000 electric SAAB 9-3s this year...they are not called SAABs though!
