Truma O rings

I am fitting replacement ultra flow pistol grip O rings. The old ones look identical but the new ones both have the same I D but one is slightly wider than the other. The guy in the accessory shop mentioned this but when asked which goes where he didn't know. Can anyone enlighten me ,it looks as though the wider one goes to the front ?

    Just happen to have one at hand (FLOE drainage kit) and they both look near enough identical. Genuine Truma pistol connecter though.

    If push came to shove I would say they are identical.

    Just bought a new fitting 'cos the old one broke while trying to plug it in/out.

    Any tips on easing it, please?

    To ease the o rings on the water inlet pistol you can lubricate them with vegetable oil.
