Teleco Teleplus X2 Aerial on Elddis van

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of this aerial, specifically whether it can be removed from the van?  

We are looking at a dealer special Elddis and it comes with this aerial fitted.  With the aerial in place it is too high to pass through my garage for storage.  The aerial on our current van can simply be removed by sliding the pole out of the fixing bracket, but the teleco has a mechanism at the foot of the pole to set the vertical/horizontal adjustment and this mechansim makes it too wide to pass through the fixing bracket.

I am trying to establish whether it can be dismantled and reassembled for storage, the dealer's suggestion is that they take the whole thing off and replace it with a Status or similar and charge me £250 extra for the trouble!
