Sledmere House and Gardens are superb. The Walled Garden is one of the loveliest I have ever visited. Shared with thousands of others however...... not for me.

We have been there once before and if I'm totally honest - all I remember is it was a long, long way for us, but that won't put us off going again laughing

Checked the map and it's only an extra 30 miles over the distance to Sandringham, no problem half way break somewhere in the midlands ( Derby/Nottingham ) jobs a goodun

Hope to see it all next year. I wonder how many actually looked at Sandringham House and gardens this year? In Shropshire, for the previous National we nearly had the gardens and house to ourselves. I wouldn't worry about crowds spoiling things, most seem to stick to the National itself.

Thinking of going to my first national in 2018, I will not be admitting I'm Snowy to anyone on site, if I do, I'll not be able to mix with other memberscry

Was talking to club chairman yesterday at the NEC Caravan show, they say tickets will not go on sale until end of November - anybody else heard this

Keep an eye on the What's On area at the top of the page, which is probably where the details will appear.

According to the CC Callander the National tickets were supposed to go on sale 31/10/17.  Obviously this has changed but no communication from the club, very poor.

The CC couldn’t even get Christmas Day right on a calendar, I think expecting to get the date the tickets go sale right is far to ambitious.

Had our National passes and information through today,👍we don’t usually bother with the evening entertainment but this year we are doing the Elvis night to check that he is actually in the building😂😂

There is loads to do for all ages, lots of new stuff this year too and the best thing ? its all included in your pitch fee, there will be a full programme of entertainment and activities for all ages from 8.30am saturday to 10.30pm on monday in the activities marquee. Then out in the arena there are all kinds of things to do (or watch !) - how about Hover archery & Travelator or Ninja Assault course ? then there are segways and the zip wire too. Of course there are the cycle fest events too.

When it comes to kids, the Tourer Explorer Zone has inside and outside activitities, the rock climbing wall, inflatables, lazer tag... The Mayday Youth Club for 8-17rs olds and the Tourer Explorer Corner for 4-11yr olds with loads of different activities too.

...and that is by no means all !

but better be quick, tickets are going...

I wouldn’t recommend anyone posts their name and address on a thread on an open forum.

"Hello, burglars. This is my address and I will be away from home attending the Elvis tribute night....." surprised
