NORTH COAST 500
Not long back from a tour of the NORTH COAST 500 in Scotland. Stayed at club site BRORA which was just fab. Great wardens and a beautiful beach nearby. Onwards to ALTNAHARRA the clubs most remote site. 22 miles from nearest shop. The site was magic on the shore of loch naver. The wardens were out of this world. From here to KINLOCHEWE and again the wardens were so friendly and helpful. Avery different site in the shadow of beinn eigh. All the sites were carefully chosen as a base to sectors of the NC 500 as some roads are very narrow for a caravan. The route was pre planned and pre booked. Next site was MORVICH which near EAILEN DONAN CASTLE is a bonus. Fantastic site and amazin wardens. Scottish scenery is awesome, even in the rain. Last but not least, stopped off at NORTH LEDAIG SITE on the way home for 1 night which was good. I included a day trip to ORKNEY from john o groats which is worthwhile. After 1250 miles of SCOTTISH SCENERY AND SINGLE TRACK ROADS this route is getting more popular so do it soon. Make sure to take in BEALACH NA BA mountain road as the views to applecross and skye are to die for. Plan carefully and it works wonders.
Good luck if you do the NC 500.

Photographs would have really added to the story especially from this beautiful part of the UK?

It would have been interesting to hear how long your trip lasted, whether it was a leisurely holiday or a race around the block? People coming up from the south would need a considerable amount of time to appreciate each area well. Bad weather can be quite a disappointment after a long journey north. Good to have various site recommendations, all in nice spots.

Sounds delightful. I'd love to see photos but although allegedly 😉 easier to post since the upgrade it is still time consuming and a faff depending on what you're using.
I agree with Brue knowing how long you took etc would also be good. When you say it's getting popular how busy was it?
