Getting into London?

I've seen a few discussions from 2014 about finding a motorhome site close to a railway station that is outside the LEZ for London. Does anyone have a solution please? I need a site close to a station to go in and meet my granddaughter in July.

All help gratefully received!

cheers

You can catch a train into the city from Denham, but I don't know if it's outside the LEZ. Suspect it is. Ring site to ask or someone on here will advise.

Anywhere just outside the M25 will be fine. What direction are you travelling from?

The Welwyn site might be an idea as I expect it's far enough outside of London not to be in the LEZ and you can catch the bus from near the site to Welwyn train station.

The Lee Valley site (not a CMC site) is 50 minutes away from central London, inside the M25, out of the LEZ, and somewhere we used to stay when visiting our son who lives in North East London.  It's within walking distance of Ponders End, Southbury, and Edmonton Green stations, and connections into central London

The Camping and Caravanning Club site at Chertsey is outside the LEZ and about  a 20 / 25 minute walk to the railway station at Chertsey.
