I have a Go Pod which, unfortunately, is a little on the small side for me and I am looking to change to something larger.
The plus points with the Pod are that it tows exceptionally well, and is sufficiently narrow so that you don't need to have extended wing mirrors. It is ideal for just jumping in and taking off.
i've been looking at an Eriba 542 and am quite tempted by it.
Does anybody have any recommendations as to smallish and nimble?

Have a look at the Lunar Ariva 380/2. It's not as wide as most small 2 berths and comes in at under a ton MPTLM. Easy to tow and park with good storage space and well equiped kitchen.
Edit - Not sure whether you wanted to keep some of the aspects that you liked about your Go Pod, hence the "small" recommendation. Feel free to discard it.

Hi Lusk,
i would certainly recommend an Eriba. We're on our second, a Troll 540GT which for us is the perfect layout.
The long bench seats are perfect for lounging during the day, sitting with a drink or relaxing in the evening reading, watching TV, listening to radio, chatting etc and the small front dinette is just right for meal times.
I'm not sure the fixed beds of a 542 would work for us as we like the extended floor space, twin benches and of course the mahoosive king size+ bed at night.
But if the 542 is your layout of choice, then you won't be disappointed with an Eriba - fantastic quality and built to last. They're also a dream to tow.
Good luck in your search.

What about the new Swift Basecamp - a real change from some caravans, with bike storage, canvas style storage, and a variety of exterior graphics. Still small enough to be easy to tow, but also large enough to provide a good sleeping area, cooking area with oven, hob, fridge and washing up bowl, and also a shower and toilet.

Thanks for the recommendation at having thought about the 542, I agree with you that the floor space is somewhat comprised. I've had a look at a 420 and a 430 today which look nice but probably a little small. I've also had a look at a 530 (I think) and liked this.
Ive been looking online at a 530 and 540 and the latter seems to be cheaper - does this sound correct?
In yours, which way do the beds go?
