Avtex tv mounting

hi there just waiting for my avtex tv to arrive and I intend to mount it on a wall bracket can anyone tell me whether it comes supplied with a plate to mount to the bracket which will allow me to clip it on and off or whether I bolt it directly to the wall bracket

    The Avtex TV has 4 small bolt holes at the back and it is supplied with the correct size small bolts so you can attached it to the caravan wall mounting bracket.

    Hi Houghta why do you need to put it on a bracket. We got ours four weeks ago and asked for a bracket fitting to the new van,the fitter wouldn't do it said it could be too heavy. So we left it and i'm glad we did (but we did have a shelf for it to go on.) It comes with standard screw holes for brackets but you don't get the bracket with the TV. Just a word of advice read the instruction booklet or you will be lost as to how to work it?

    Bracket fitted as standard on our caravan, 18.5" drs TV, no problem at all re. weight, but do take it off for travelling. TV off grid 12v power from the sun!

    That could well be the case, or there may be some suitable strengthening in the wall somewhere that would take the weight. You have not said what caravan you want to fit it onto, but a few minutes with an electronic stud finder should give you an idea where there is any stremgthening in the wall.

    Hi Nav i don't think it would have been too heavy as Swift fit one on a similar van but he wasn't willing to risk his job on it. As i have said i'm glad he decided that.We have a 21.5 Avtex and it's the best TV but i'm glad OH is here to read instructions booklet!!!.

    yeah i forgot to mention that we are getting a swift conqueror 560 with comes pre-fitted with 2 wall brackets i just wanted to know if i bolt the tv directly to the wall bracket or if avtex supply a plate to bolt to the bracket and the tv then clips on and off from the plate

     I would have thought that Swift would provide both parts of the bracket. Can your dealer not confirm?

    Our other tv is a vision plus which has one-off these, if the avtex does not have something similar I will try this bracket to see if it fits and works ok and if it does I will get one. Thanks for pointing out that you can buy them separately
