UPDATE ๐ซ๐ท๐ซ๐ท๐ซ๐ท๐ซ๐ท๐ซ๐ท๐ค๐ค ๐ค๐ฌ
Hi All.
Me.
Well, arrived in France least Friday, why did I worry about the Eurotunnel and driving Trixie? Apart from really wanting to leave the OH in the Boulangerie and drive off (several times) all has been fabulously easy.
i have tried an 'Aire' in La Rochelle; ok not the best experience on the Holiday but at least I know what to expect ๐ค . Met my lovely school friends in Versailles where I have to admit, I got unashamedly merry; that WAS a treat.
We are currently in Arcachon for 6 nights to re-charge my own batteries (driving has never been my favourite task).
If I were to be asked, 'do you miss your Caravan? Yes, I loved it ๐๐๐
If I were to be asked, would I like it back now, having experienced a MH for the first time? ย Not on anyone's Nelly. Can't believe I didn't do it sooner.
This is NOT about what is the better. It has fit my needs so well for THIS part of my life although I doubt I will return to caravanning. ย OMG it is so easy ๐

Hello all,
Back now.
I had one or two issues while I was away, including one evening with my boy in ย A & E in Chaterleraux): ย I thought he was having another stroke but it turns out he was just very de-hydrated).
I DID worry about doing it on my own but I needn't have worried. Actually if I had a problem I asked either you guys or someone on site. There was a lovely Dutch man who, out of the blue, accompanied me to hospital with boy. When I asked why, he said 'you were kind to my dog'. How lovely was that.
back to work tomorrow preparing for another trip in 12 weeks time. Thanks all for being a point of contact when I have needed.
