What do we know of the new outer barrier to Ferry  Meadows  site. Of  course  we know it's popular with Traveĺors but  what does this new barrier do. We note of reports of units queuing on the main road as opposed to using the big waiting area. What is the latest arrangements for mid day access

Hi Wayne and Judie, you arrive at the barrier towing, depending on how long your vehicle is, yes you  block the path way and possibly the road especially if there are vehicles in front of you. You either have to lean out and press the intercom which then phones the office and they ask you what you want!!!. Depending on your answer they let you in and check is as before (this was at 3 o clock), or we noticed on Sunday at 12 noon there was a warden standing at the closed barrier with 3 other units waiting along the road he it appears was letting them in one by one after he checked his list. Not sure how late arrivals work because you need  the fob to gain access that side. However once you've got to the barrier, reversing out would be nigh on impossible as it would be uphill 180 degree turn when you would are already be on the wrong lock!!! if you were sent away for being too early.  (that  could  be one of the challenges for COTY)

I have attempted to remove the two addition identical posts but unfortunately it makes the posts in the main discussion disappear so I have reinstated them.

It seems we are having the same problem with duplicate discussions that we used to have with duplicate threads within a discussion. I am not altogether sure why its happening but its possible the OP might think the original has not been sent because of the slowness of the forum and repressed resend?
