hi folks...bought a new caravan march 2015 had its 2nd service this week and its damp 60 and 70% on one side, its covered under warranty but really not happy, has anyone else been in this situation?we bought this new van due to our previous 2nd hand van being damp and didn't want to spend money on it so decided to get anew one so wouldn't be worrying.....wish we hadn't bothered,,,very disappointed to say the least, any advice on what to do would be very much appreciated

Go back to your dealer and instigate a warranty claim. It is the responsibility of the dealer you bought it from to sort it out.

Really sorry to hear this yet again. Be prepared for a long wait for its return. This too seems to be the norm. Clearly state what you expect and a time frame, try and get written agreement. If it needs new parts you'll probably have to wait for the next manufacturer run to produce the next batch, again the norm. I'm not trying to be a killjoy but to give you some idea of what to expect. Could you take it to the dealer for assessment and continue using it until the parts are ready or they have a window to repair? Rather than loose out on use over the summer.

It seems to be an ever increasing problem it isn't a Lunar by any chance is it?  Bakers 2 advice is great don't let them have it to wait and wait for the sections to come in.  I think I would be mentioning stuff like loss of use compensation etc etc.  Not fit for purpose I'd another phrase that springs to mind.  Poor you I hope you get it sorted quickly.

I am not sure that there is any regular modern caravan that I would have faith in particularly
