Last time that I stayed here it was CC. Quite happy with the site as I have a reasonable pitch and site is well kept and reasonably priced. £25 a night for up to two adults in peak and £20 a night off peak. I am surprised at the glowing reviews that I have read though. I reckon that 70% of the pitches (maybemore) would be only non awning on a CC site as they are tight. The washrooms and showers are heated by two inrefectual radiators.

As said we have been happy and used iur own shower after trying those on site ..... brrrr!

Site full.

Every time I pass, when I call in at Foders to get a few bits of local produce, lots of pitches are always taken. Live not far away, just off Skipton Road pass the roundabout.

Yes it seems popular. Whilst many of the pitches are far too tight it is clean, well priced and in a good location.

I would have used the CC knaresborough site had it been open. We have not been there for 11 years. Not been here for 20 years at a guess.

Just to add the 6m / 3m fire clearances are not met on many of the pitches.
