PMS3H not charging battery

Hi,

My PMS3H is not charging my battery when on 240v hook up.  I have put a volt meter to it and there is no current coming from the unit to the battery.  Can these be repaired?  I have checked all fuses external to the unit.  The battery is nearly new and holds charge well and is chargeable with a car battery charger.

    I take it you mean volts (or lack of) coming from your charger.Your best bet is to put the meter on dc volts across the battery and then get someone to plug the supply and see if the volts rise probably around 13.4v.

    From your post you say no amps,to do this means connecting your meter in series between battery and charger to measure this.

    As for repairs if it is faulty,sorry cannot help but would google it.

    Yes sorry I meant to say Volts.  I have tried your suggestion and no rise in voltage when the charger is switched on.  Think it's defiantly broken.  Next step is to try and find a caravan electrician.

    try aandacaravans, they are resident charger/battery experts on the MMM forum. they repair many different types of charger.
