Bridlington site

I am due to visit the Bridlington site shortly and I have been searching the website, without success, to find out about the development work that is taking place.

Can anyone tell me how the work is impacting on the site and specifically is the dog field available to use?

    Was their 3 weeks ago not started yet, but l think l saw a path  being made into the field opposite the toilet block could have something to do with it

    Have you checked reviews in case it has been mentioned? Otherwise a call to the site might help.

    I decided to contact the site and it seems that the review that I read was inaccurate.

    The development work is not due to start until the end of April.

    Some shrubs have been removed because they were overgrown and nothing to do with the redevelopment.

    The dog field is in use.

    For those that are familiar with the site, it is the adjacent field that will be developed providing much needed for extra pitches.

    Should not affect us then as we are there on the 17th for 5 nights

    I may see you then as I am due to arrive on the 19th for 3 nights.

    I drive a blue Auto-Sleeper Warwick Duo and travel with my mainly white Lhasa Apso.

    I am easier to spot. 2005 X-Trail in Royal Navy Blue colour. Only seen one other in 12 years!

    Looks like the web site is inaccurate yet again.☹️ The following is copy and pasted from the site overview on the Bridlington site page.

    From March 2017 – November 2017 the Bridlington site is undergoing significant extension works. Whilst this will inevitably generate some noise, we’ll do our best to keep disruption to a minimum and thank you for your patience.

    Shame they have not updated it to mirror the information you received from the warden.
