The CL of the Year Awards recognises the very best sites and rewards hard-working owners who pull out all the stops for members.

We're asking you to vote for your favourite site in the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s CL of the Year 2017 awards. You will also automatically be entered into a prize draw where you could win a five-night stay at your favourite CL and an invitation to the awards ceremony at the House of Commons in November 2017.

    Is there anyway that a CL can find out how many or if they even got any votes, other than by wining!

    Its an uneven contest anyway. At one site a few years ago there were voting forms and envelopes to fill in and return, "voting for that site". Not in the spirit of the competition. By the way they won the regional bit. Now not interested in votng.

    Votes are anonymous, we do ask for your name and membership information to confirm that vote is valid but we will not share this information out. We would love for you to vote for your favorite CL site from this year. laughing

    Hi John

    Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you.

    As the votes are open to all club members we do get a high volume of votes. We are a small administration team so it is difficult for us to provide voting numbers. 

    Once the results are known we will be providing the National Winner, 2nd place and 3rd place along with Regional winners. These will all be published on the website.

    I’d never bother trying to book a winner on the assumption it will be full. Good for the CL owner maybe but not necessarily for the rest of us.

    How can one vote sensibly unless one has visited "all" the CL's?

    Not necessarily the case, TW. We were able to book 6 nights on last year's winner about 3 weeks before we visited. It did live up to expectations too.

    To save the staff the bother the winners were:-

    1. Low Moor Head Farm Cl in Cumbria

    2. Joint runners up Welltrough Hall Farm CL in Cheshire and Meadow Bank Farm CL in the New Forest.

    Thanks Phil but the club need to get a grip on this and put out announcements across all their social media at the same time! An assumption that everyone uses FB is a wrong one. frown

    I see from an advertisement on Facebook that the winners have been announced, 

    It's a shame there is no mention on the CAMC website or forum! 

     

    Well done to Low Moor Head Farm, Cumbria & runners up welltrough hall farm, Cheshire & meadow bank farm New Forest,

    This award looks to me to be a competition to see which one can be the most expensive CL in the network!!

    Certainly none of those that "won" will be getting my hard earned cash!
