Solar Panel On or Off when Parked Up
My Bolero Motorhome is parked up for 2 weeks unattached to electric and heating & water off and swift command off. Therefore the solar panel is off. Should i leave the swift command on so the solar panel is trickle charging?

Are you sure your solar panel is off? I'm no expert but have a Swift Elegance caravan with a solar panel which works even when in storage with the 12v system shutdown. If I leave the 'shutdown' button pushed in (so that the system is on) the battery will be used for background things which I have no idea about and the battery will not be fully charged when I return. If I have the button out so that the 12v system is off the battery is just about fully charged when I return, even though the alarm has been on. I would imagine your motorhome is similar but as I said I'm no expert.

The solar panel on my 2016 Bolero is always on and charging the batteries, even with the PCU isolated. I don't use Swift Command but that is, as I understand it, only a remote means of operating the control panel so I don't see it having any effect over the function of the solar panel.
This would have been better posted in the Motorhome section.0 -
