New caravan sorted
Jules and I went to the dealers last Sunday, to check round the new caravan after the sorry state it was delivered to them by Swift.
We were amazed how the dealer had turned it around. Just one small item that Swift hadn't got in stock, so just gotta wait for that part (small plinth on TV station).
The dealer, Black Country Caravans, deserve a huge shout, I cannot fault their service, attitude and patience after my constant complaining. In fact, because I know that non of it was their doing, I contacted Swift and have a "case" open with them. The results of that I will post on here, but it is looking positive.
To be honest, Swift have got on the ball, and have sent a few parts to the dealer within 3 days!!
So pleased it got sorted, we love the van and we are off to Stanmore Hall tomorrow for a long weekend shakedown run.
Colour me chuffed

So we pitched up at Stanmore on a gorgeous grass pitch, everything set up, there was a cock up with the booking so I had to zoom back home and get the waste master....
Finally all sorted at around 4pm, or so we thought. The heating and water control panel wouldn't come on, after much scratching of head, numerous expletives from Jules I called the dealer, by this time it was getting for half past 5!.
The guy who did the handover (James) came out to us within the hour. Bearing in mind he finishes work at 4.30 and was only still there doing another hand over that had gone longer than expected.
After 20 mins all up and running, a 12v power supply had come off the panel.
Heating, check
Hot water, check
No rain, check
Nibbles and cider, check check
