Always use the discount for outdoor clothing at places like Cotswold or Mountain Warehouse or Go Outdoors. Plus the M6 toll road and take advantage of the discount at RoadChef, if only for a Costalot coffee break.

    Thanks for your efforts.

Hi Laura, recently there was a thread about discounts available when showing your membership card at certain retail outlets.

I searched at the time but could find no information on the website and whilst it may be that such discounts are not negotiated by the club passing on this type of information on may help members?

We have used the offer at Mountain Warehouse many times. The added bonus is the discount on items with discounts. My favourite items recently have been a short padded down jacket and some merino base layers.

We probably use the MW discount more than any other, I once got a waterproof jacket for £12.50 down from over £100. By the time I had done with various discount cards they were glad to get rid of me!laughing

We have used the offer on the North York Moors Railway, got 2 for 1 into Eden Camp Museum, some of the Sea Life Centres and loads of other interesting places to visit. Railway and Eden Camp are great visits, well worth it if in Yorkshire!

I have started going through the booklet striking out the vast number of offers that are "one free child with . . . ", for two reasons.

Firstly, these offers are of no use as I do not holiday with children in my company. Secondly, it is fair warning that the "attraction" will be swarming with children.

It is not that I or my girlfriend are anti-children. It is just that they are the basis of our employments and we want away from them on holiday.

The offers we want are big discounts, or two for one on adults!

Cotswolds Farm Park "Adams Farm" is worth the Two for one offer, and his campsite is being completely revamped so depending on the price when done is a future destination

We use Mountain Warehouse a lot - boots, coats, waterproofs etc. I think you have to take their "original" price with a pinch of salt, but it's all been good quality stuff at very good prices.

We also take advantage of the M6 toll discount on the rare occasions we head that way - pity there's not a similar scheme for the Severn Bridge!

    Hi allanandjean,

All of the offers negotiated via the Club can be found here: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/member-offers/

    I hope this helps smile

    Hi Navigateur,

    Thank you for your feedback.

There are hundreds of attractions in the Great Savings Guide and the majority of these are monetary/percentage savings on admission tickets, two for the price of one etc.

There are approximately 90 attractions which are child/family savings only.

I hope you enjoy some great days out and are able to make plenty of savings on your visits smile

We used the 2 for 1 offers at both the Eden Project and at the Lost Gardens of Heligan a couple of times. Very welcome, thank you.

Problem with the Eden Project offer is that you don't get the one year membership deal that you get when paying for entry, so not quite as good as it seems

    Hi Orca1803,

I can confirm the Haven member offer expired November 2016.  As it stands Haven are not offering Club members a discount however it is worth keeping an eye on their website as they often run great deals. smile

Having seen mention elsewhere on CT, i have just booked the ferry + Camping Cheques package. What a deal!

return ferry Portsmouth - Caen =£354

return ferry (same) + 5 Camping Cheques @ £15.95 (almost £80) gives combined price of £256, for what would have been over £430.

fantastic, well done to whoever set this up.

Please pardon my ignorance as I'm new to caravanning and still getting to grips with all things pertaining to this, at times testing, but enjoyable pastime.  When my wife retires from teaching on 30 June, we will be traversing the countryside in various directions with our new Bailey Unicorn Cadiz and it is very likely that we will benefit by using the M6 Toll. Do we simply show our membership card to get the toll discount or is there a process to complete in advance? Kind regards, Lew & Irene Jack

Yes just show your current membership card and you get discounted price. Pleasant travel and the bonus of a saving 😆.

Hello and welcome to our hobby and CT. Please feel free to join in the conversations, it's amazing what you learn and it's not all caravan or motorhome related 😉. Looking forward to hearing about your travels and ask away if you have any queries.
